Mike C. Bodine is an experienced poet in the Chattanooga area where he has frequented open mic as well other venues regionally. He is a graduate of the University of Chattanooga (now called the University of Tennessee Chattanooga) in 1973, as well as a Vietnam veteran. His poetry centers around his interest in Civil War history and his Vietnam experiences. His poems have been published in Blind Man's Rainbow, Iconoclast, Haight-Ashbury Journal, and Silver Blade.
