With all the talk about economic growth, small business is big business in American and women entrepreneurship on the increase; I am often asked by others how do I start my own business? As quick as the answer is provided, it is often dismissed immediately. Why? I must let you in on a secret, you are not alone. This is called the shoulda, woulda, coulda club, the special guest is “FEAR” and it resides in our mindset.

Fear and self-sabotage are mindset defaults that cripple us from our dreams. It is a sign that our mind, spirit and soul is out of balance. It does not feel good and we allowed fear to control our mindset because we feel unconsciously powerless which causes us to fall short in the pursuit of happiness.

Being stuck in fear and self-sabotage is a choice and we must realize the mind is powerful beyond our imagination. I am reminded of a famous quote by Marianne Williamson: “Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.

What I learned is that light and darkness cannot exist in the space. It is a conflict of interest to the total body which causes it to be out of balance. 

It has taken me 40 years to uncover the real root of fear and self- sabotage because I did not understand the value of personal investment of the inner self. It cost me thousands of dollars, a team of physicians, spiritual thinkers, reading books, personal development coaches and inner soul searching to fully embrace the power that reside within my mind and soul.

Now that I know this, and accept I am powerful beyond measure, I can summon the universe to align the soul and spirit with mindset to produce congruent thoughts. The universe adheres to its command because our mindset is powerful but so are our words. I no longer allow my emotions to delegate my future or allow my past to hold me hostage.

I am now focused on the work that must be done and share my message with the world. I am powerful beyond measure! I served fear and self- sabotage an eviction notice and they can no longer reside in my mindset. The world is waiting for me. Through my pain that shifted me into my purpose, it allowed me to see I am powerful beyond measure. I am now able to help others share their story. It is my obligation to mankind and I approve this message.
