She was awarded the NAMWOLF Yolanda Coly Advocacy Award, the Diversity Law Institute Award, the TLAA Women’s Champion Award, and was inducted into The League for Entrepreneurial Women of Temple U. Hall of Fame. She founded the Temple Law Alumni Association (TLAA) Women’s Initiative, the TLAA Diversity Committee, Women’s Champion Award, and Diversity Leadership Award, during her term as Pres. of TLAA. She is a member of The Forum of Executive Women and co-created its Male Champions for Women program to expand the GOOD Guys program beyond the legal profession. Axelrod is a Founder of The Fearless Women Network and creator of “The Axelrod Firm’s Diversity Miniguide: Tools to Become A Diversity Champion.” She serves on the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Chancellor’s Diversity Advisory Panel, on the American Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association Women in the Profession Commission (PBA WIP) Diversity Committees. She is Co-Chair of the Diversity Law Institute Advisory Board and is on the Advisory Boards of the Gender Wealth Institute, Women Owned Law, where she served as Co-Chair of its Diversity & Inclusion Task Force.
