Remember the Holocaust and Lives Lost – by Rabbi Dr. Bernhard Rosenberg

I have furnished Rabbis, educators, and Holocaust commissions and libraries with a life time of readings, sermons, essays and poems which hopefully will be used for generations to come.

“Theological and Halachic Reflections on the Holocaust” is now in its second printing. Some of my other books include: “A Guide for the Jewish Mourner,” “Contemplating the Holocaust,” “What the Holocaust Means to Me: Teenagers Speak Out,” “Thoughts on the Holocaust-Where Was God Where Was Man–Teenagers Reflect on Major Themes of the Holocaust.” as well as ECHOES OF THE HOLOCAUST.

And my latest books include a Passover Haggadah for Holocaust Survivors and their families – for them to remember, reflect and reminisce.

The Holocaust as Seen by Through Film is a very special book that I’ve added to my others that educate students, educators and the community about the Holocaust. Holocaust Films database is a movie browser for all the available movies, documentaries and films included in Rabbi Rosenberg’s book. Every week we will add an additional list of films until the book is complete, and additional references to other films.

Inside the site HOLOCAUST FILMS there’s a menu with options to see the list of films on the “movies” tab, or make a search on the “search” tab, and even a sub menu below the list to navigate through movie listings (“first”, “previous”, “next”, “last”) . In the Details option you will find more information about each film, as production year, country of origin, Director, as well as links to watch trailers and streaming options. It is not designed to be an exhaustive list, but rather, numerous movies, documentaries, and films that the author believes are of value to students of the Holocaust and their teachers.

This is an effort to keep alive the Memory of the six million Jewish souls murdered and the Survivors.  Remember the Holocaust!
