The golden shine, once her hair,
long lost to age, silver and white.
The family stories of the old summer house,
children playing, and swimming,
long forgotten.
Lisa M. Scuderi-Burkimsher was born and raised on Staten Island, New York. She is currently involved with online writing groups and a fiction book club. Her flash fiction story “The Big Duke,” was published in 2015. Her book “Shorts for the Short Story Enthusiasts,” was published in 2018. Lisa resides on Long Island, NY with her husband Rick and her dogs Lucy Lu and Breanna Sue.
