Who are these aliens, but if
there be, are we as much as they?
Have they been watching us?
Look like bugs, who’s to say?
Appendages like tarantula’s!
Beyond belief. Do they sleep?
Astronomers pontificate
do aliens do the same? Laugh,
breathe air, think rationally?
Time spawns answers
that generate superstition,
stuff of religion.
So let us curb anxiety, strengthen
our military, or assume they’d
come in peace? But if not,
why worry?
